3 Things To See At Frieze London And Frieze Masters 2022

Founded in 2003 by Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover, Frieze London showcases a collection of the most exciting artists working today. Frieze London operates out of The Regent’s Park, just a stone's throw away from Frieze Masters, its sister fair.
Frieze Masters takes a unique view at the relationship between Historical Art and Contemporary Practice. As a quick run down, for Pre-2000’s art, head to Masters, for Post-2000’s art, head to London.

Geometric Abstraction

In the post war decades of the 1940’s the American Artist Sue Fuller would become one of the most Imaginative artists of her time. Focusing on Geometric Abstraction which is a form of Abstract Art that makes use of geometric forms, although this is not always the case.

The Immersive Installations

Artist Laure Prouvost, well known for her ‘immersive and mixed media installations’ which combine and installation. She combines these in both an idiosyncratic and humorous fashion. You will be able to find her work at the Lisson Gallery as a major solo, participatory presentation.

Medieval Manuscripts And The Healing Properties Of Plants

The center piece to this year's line up and Frieze London is a project by Emma Talbot. The work will stretch the length of the entrance corridor for Frieze London. The work begins its lift from medieval illustrated manuscripts called ‘Herbal’ which describe the healing properties of certain plants.
